How to change boot screen

Some people are "Unique ". So my this post is for that "Unique" people.
In this post i will be telling you how to personalize your computer by adding your custom boot screen.

So here we go

What you need

A PC to test upon
An app named " Bootskin "(download here )
Microsoft Paint (which would be already installed on your PC)
Your custom image which you want to use as your bootscreen
Microsoft Notepad (Preinstalled or any other text editor )

STEP 1

After downloading the "BOOTSKIN" application from the above link

Install the "BOOTSKIN" application on your system.

After Installing the app properly proceed to the next step

STEP 2

Note : For your Bootscreen to work it should be strictly have the attributes 640 x 480 pixels and must be saved as 16 color bitmap (.bmp extension).

Now open up your image or create one in Microsoft Paint.

Then from the upper bar go to Image>>attributes.. (or you can simply press ctrl+E)

Then as i told above put Width>> 640 and Height>>480 for more clear information see the image below.

Select File option from upper bar and select save as

Now save this image as 16 color bitmap as show below

STEP 3

Now open Note pad (or your text editor) and copy and paste this code below :

Description = “bootskin”

ProgressBarX = 244

You can change the " name " and "author" but make sure what ever you type ,it should be in double quotes.

And now save this file as "bootskin.ini".See image below

STEP 4

Last and final step is to put the two files that is "bootskin.ini " and image into a zip file that is you have to compress it or you can even use Winrar by and select .zip from there instant of .rar in option in winrar,

Now after compressing your image and bootskin.ini file in a zip file , rename the extension from .zip to .bootskin of your compressed file .

And you are done with the bootscreen creation now finally double click on the file you just created and select option "Apply"

And you are done!

Windows being the most used OS keeps Microsoft yielding a new OS every then and now .
Here in this post i will tell you how to experience windows 8 which will be coming soon .
Here I have two ways for you to experience the Windows 8.

1.) Developer Preview (True experience)
2.)Transformation Pack (Not real experience but visually it gives experience of windows 8)

1.) Developer Preview (True experience)
As i explained above this will be the true experience ,if you really want to experience windows 8 .
Though this is Developer preview that is pre-beta version that is these downloads include pre-release software that may change without notice and you bear the risk involved with this as its still in pre beta stages .

Though there would be many methods on internet through which you can shutdown your computer from anywhere in the world but it includes outlook and all that which i think would be a complicated job...

So, in this post i will explain how to shutdown your computer from anywhere in the world .

What You need

Twitter Account (click here to signup for twitter if you don't have one)
Tweet My PC app (download)
A Gmail account (Optional)

I am assuming you are ready with a twitter account. So next install Tweet My PC application on your PC which you want to remotely control . After installing TweetMyPc.

Enter the twitter account details in the corresponding area and you are done .

NOTE: If you don’t enter username and password to a Google-email-account, then commands like getprocesslist, getfile and getfilelist will not be usable!

And after filling all the details simply click save and close.

Then to shutdown your PC , from your mobile tweet on your twitter account this command

"shutdown" or to restart tweet "restart" to lock simply tweet "lock" or to get screenshot of your pc tweet "screenshot" or you if got a cool file to download then simply tweet "download " to remotely download a file on your PC or got a cool image and want to make it your wallpaper then tweet "wallpaper "

In this way you are physically out of reach of your computer but virtually connected .

The thing is that this method will cost you some buck due to data exchange on your mobile but if its free then its a bonus or twitter also has an option to update your status via text message if it works for you then that too would be great option to consider as some service provider serves free messages via message card or packs.

In this post i will show you how to print directly from your mobile to a printer(non-WiFi and non bluetooth printer ) which is attached to your computer or laptop...
Here the thing is ,the printer is classic that is it is not WiFi or Bluetooth printer its a classic printer that is it is attached to a computer or laptop which must be connected to a internet connection.

I will be explaining two ways

Note: This only works with Android and iPhone and Blackberry (though paid app)

1. Printer share App

Through an app called Printer Share download links for the respective platforms are given below

If you will be using this app then all the instruction of setting up are explained in the app.

But for the app to work a app must be installed on the printer attached PC.

Though this works with apple but it is a paid app so i would not be taking it up !(sorry apple users)
What you need :

A smartphone (should be Android powered smartphone )
A computer with installed Printer (from which you want to print)
A Gmail Account
Google chrome browser installed on you PC (with which printer is attached ) if you don't have Google chrome installed please "click here " to get the latest version.

Note : Before starting please ensure that the printer from which you want to print should be in working condition and is printing from the pc to which it is attached.

Download the Android app "Cloud Print"

ON THE PC

Now for detailed instruction on how to set it up on your Chrome browser (i.e PC)

Now from here select Classic printer and then follow the on screen instructions .

On the Android Powered smartphone

Install the app from the above link or if you haven't till now click here .
Then configure the app by selecting the account with which you configured Google cloud print on your Google chrome browser.
Then there would be three options select "OTHER PRINTERS " and press next and the app will search for the printers then select the default printer from which you want to print.
Then print the test page for checking .

And boom you are done !

Yes ,This Rajnikanth site runs without internet ,and why shouldn't ,after all its Rajnikanths site .

The moment you enter the site " www.allaboutrajni.com " its refuses to work in the presence of an internet connection and prompts the user to switch off his internet to in order to view this site .The website claims to run on "Rajni Power".

And if you switch on the next after entering the site prompts

"Aiyyo.. That was unexpected...to keep browsing switch off your internet"

THE OTHER SIDE :

So the question is does this site really works without internet??

Well actually no ! , No site can run without a data connection the catch is when you enter the site a highly compressed Flash file gets downloaded to your computer which you can view offline .

And a loop check the data connection and if finds that you are connected to internet prompts you to switch off your internet in order to view the site.
And if you want to check ,then get disconnected from the internet and then visit the website .

Sometimes you are stuck in a situation where you need password to view a forum or a page or for just downloading a file and you have to go through whole process of signing up and filling that forms and all that personal details
So ,in this post i would tell you how to bypass that Login page with a simple and easy solution.

For bypassing you need to open "www.bugmenot.com".

Then simply enter the site which you want to bypass ,in the place where it is written "www.example.com" then click the red button titled as "Get Logins".
You will then get a list of login combinations.
Next, i don't think i need to tell you what you have to do with them
Though this method will not work with every site but would be a lifesaver for most of the sites.

Do you find it hard to wake up early in tmorning, are you aproud owner of an android phone.

So ! you are lucky as there is an app for that , may be this wouldhelp

Check out "ALARM CLOCK XTREME " or "HYPER ALARM CLOCK", these incredible clocks will wake you up in that chilling winter, but not like that stockandroid alarm ,these android app will either give you a maths problem (in caseof alarm clock xtreme) or random pin which will change after a set interval (incase of Hyper Alarm).

BECOME A PRO AT COUTER STRIKE .....

This post will tell you how to make a good professional player out of yourself in counter strike (the game).
Keep in mind, these 3 golden rules:
1) Control recoil.
2) Sound sense.
3) Use radar.

Elaborating Point 1 - RECOIL

First up, what is recoil? Recoil is the opposite force (newton's 3rd law) as a result of forward force. E.g. As we fire a bullet from gun, it(gun) move in backward direction. In cs also the same application applies, the recoil. When weapon is fired, the aim (crosshair) gets enlarged due to which the bullet gets deviated from its path and goes some where in hell. When does recoil come into play, and how does it affect our play? Offcourse, by firing(Fire key - left mouse click) it will always be there even for pro player. But I am here to tell, how to minimize it. So what to do so that recoil gets minimized? You are surely a newbie if you don't know how to control it. Newbies at this game keep on pressing the left mouse click, while firing, resulting in enlarged crosshair i.e. signifying increased recoil.[ Explaination in hinglish : new player mouse click ko daba kar rakhte hai aur uspse te tab tak ungli nahi uthate jab tak vo mar nahi jate. Isse ye hota hai recoil bad jaata hai aur samne wale ko goli nahi lag pati ] So here's the thing, you don't have to hold the click. JUST 'REPEATEDLY' PRESS THE LEFT MOUSE CLICK [ click ko dabaye rakhne ke jagah usko chodd chodd kar dabaye ]. This way the recoil is in under control, the crosshair doesn't get big.

AIMING:
HOW to KILL quickly?
So, when i was a newbie i used to get anxious when as soon as i see a frag in front of me. What i did that time was, i instantly, also insanely, start hitting the clicks, resulting in high recoil and deviated bullets. But now, I say what a noob a was!! So am gonna tell you how to kill quickly. First, move the cross hair over the frag(ct or t). Second, repeated clicks, 4 hits(max) from m4a1 or 2-4(max) hits from ak47, manages to kill quickly.

TIP 1:
As soon as you see a frag,( remind what i told you to do -> move crosshair to frag's body -> start clicking repeatedly ) now in this tip, what you have to do is while clicking for 1st bullet + say in mind '1' then release click + Again click, then say '2' in mind, release click. + Again, click, say '3', release. One last time, say '4', release click. Generally it gets 4 hits to kill a frag from m4a1 or ak, but new players it get more than that. So you can check your progress while clicking repeatedly and saying number (1 to 10 ) with each bullet, less number you said in mind means better your getting at this.

TIP 2:
Get a high DPI mice. At the end, i would still say playing with a prestige mice really help. For pro players, it might not matter a lot coz SKILLS counts for them.

Elaborating Point - 2 SOUND SENSE
For this you gotta have a pair of headset. Here's what I use to do when I was a newbie -- play cs without headsets and with speakers on, sometimes playing some music in the itunes simultaneously while playing. So how does this affect the play? Ya it does, sound of foot steps plays an important role for getting big fishes. If you are able to distinguish the sound of foot steps, that's it your PRO. Well this thing can NOT be done with some good woofer or big speaker, you got to have a headset.

Elaborating Point - 3 USING RADAR
You can see a radar on the top right cornor of the screen (green circle), while playing. The centre of radar tells where you are standing. The white dots represent your teammates. So, how do we use radar? Radar tells us which side we have our team mates. Do we have back up or not. Is this a safe place to stand. Can we go straight up front in enemy territory. All this answers are given by white dots on radar(green circle). Its hard to explain,but by the time i told you i included this point in the golden point then you must keep this in mind that "IT IS SOMETHING TO BE KEPT IN MIND - THE RADAR"

TIP: for better display of white dots on radar. Type this command in console "cl_radartype 1"(without quotes)

Suffering with what is termed as degenerative genetic disease, 51-year-old Peter Lane had been blinded for over two decades. But now becoming the first person to be implanted with a bionic eye at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, Lane can see partially.
The bionic eye that Lane has been implanted with is actually an electronic receiver which takes electronic signals of the captured images from a camera fixed to a special pair of glasses which he wears. These images are converted into electronic signals by a video processor worn by him on the belt, and are then passed to an electrode panel embedded in the retina from where the pulse travels to the brain via the optic nerve, to let him see faintly.

For now, as a part of the worldwide trial of the technology developed by American company Second Sight to help treat patients with retinitis pigmentosa, Lane can only see outline of objects, like doorways, furniture, cars etc, and can read small words through a series of dots and lights on a special small screen. MakeBootable is a free software which lets you convert your pen drive into a bootable media, After making your pen drive bootable with makebootable you can use your pen drive like a windows xp bootable cd.

Makebootable is so easy to use, as it make your normal USB pen drive a bootable media in one click.

But there is a limitation, you will need to format your pen drive with fat file system in order to make your device bootable.

Stop Trojan Infection
